Great Garage Screen Door!

The wife and I love this screen door. Engineering at its finest, but I can't believe how bad these instructions are. You would think with such a great product, the instructions would be great too.I took a bunch of pictures and have typed notes with some do's and don't to help people because these instructions are horrible, but I realize I can't upload pictures like that in these reviews.Just some quick notes, if you have a truck that is a bit high and you want to continue to park it in the garage, this is not the product for you. You got to pick and choose your battle. I've read one person said they had a gap around the screen door. You must have the weather stripping around your garage door. Mines had one already. I can't remember what else I read to help out, but if you want me to email some pictures, I will gladly send them.

Looks great, fit like a glove!

Most probably don’t buy this yo keep their dog from getting out of garage, but we did! My husband and I spend a lot of time in garage on weekends and it gets so hot out there when there is no moving air! This is great because it allows for a nice breeze. Keeps our small dog in and it looks nice! Most importantly it helps keep insects out! It does require quite a bit of clearance on the sides so it will go up and down freely! The instructions were not great but we were able to fight things out. We found it easier to install the screen after hanging rather than prior to hanging as instructions stated.

It takes two to install, but it is not hard

This comes as a 'kit' you assemble for the main door. First you assemble the frame and then add the screen to it. The screen installs fairly easily but it is time consuming to stretch the screen material on the frame. (Only the sliding screen door is preinstalled with the screen.)I purchased the white screen which, during the day, almost looks like the garage door is closed. You CANNOT see through it from the outside during the day, but at night you can see in if there is a light on in the garage, the same as with reflective windows. Overall I am very pleased with the results and how well the videos explain each step. I had my notebook PC in the garage as I assembled everything and it made the written instructions much easier to understand. BUT be sure to read the written instructions as the videos do miss a few fine points in the installation.The photos show the finished install. Note during the daytime with the white privacy screen the only thing you can see inside is the light I had on. The view from the inside shows how it works like a one way mirror. I included detail of the track to show how it relates to the garage door track. Not hard to install and they even have a place to mount the safety photo eye for your garage door opener including a 'mask' so the garage door won't come down when the screen is in place!

Product is well made and operates as describedJust like most of todays DYI products, the installations instructions aren’t detailed enough. You have to figure out some stuff on your own. It took 2.5 days to do a self installation alone, and I am very well mechanically inclined
